Having a great time performing and working with the students at the Brevard Music Center this summer! I am especially looking forward to upcoming performances of Shostakovich 7 (SNARE DRUM!!!!), Rachmaninoff Symphonic Dances (SNARE DRUM!!!!) and Verdi Requiem (TIMPANI!!!!) Yay drums!

I am very proud of the Michigan State Percussion Ensemble being one of the winners of the PASIC percussion ensemble competition! I am looking forward to working with them as they prepare to play at the convention this year in November 2017!!!

My newest recording, Beguiled, was recently reviewed by All About Jazz!  To read the review, click here.

I am excited to be performing a work from my new recording, Beguiled, at the 2016 PASIC Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana.  I will perform "Beija Flor," composed by Behn Gillece, at the 11 AM Showcase Concert of New Keyboard Music on Friday, November 11th.

I am really excited about my new CD coming out on October 21st on the Origin Classical label. I am playing all new, original music composed by an amazing cast of musicians (including Grammy-nominated Rufus Reid) and collaborations with some amazing talents: Rodney Whitaker, Linda Oh, Marshall Gilkes, and Weston Sprott. Joe Locke was gracious to offer an introduction to the program in the liner notes. It has been fun and challenging to work on a project like this that expands and blurs musical boundaries. I hope you will check it out if you are looking for something new and are interested in how Jazz and Classical music complement and relate to each other.
